Laminates with microporous PTFE membrane are the result of our many years of development and innovation. These laminates have been specially designed and developed to meet the high demands for functionality and comfort of softshell clothing and footwear.
Our key objective was to achieve an unbeatable combination of vapour permeability and 100% windproofing to ensure that users can feel as comfortable as possible in all conditions.
By using a unique microporous PTFE technology, our laminates offer exceptional properties that conventional porous membranes cannot provide. The microporous membrane consists of several very thin but extremely resistant layers that not only provide excellent vapour permeability but also ensure wind resistance.
All laminates with a membrane are hydrophobically treated with the so-called DWR treatment. We are able to apply both C6 fluorocarbon and PFC-free surface treatment to our materials.
Both treatments offer a high degree of hydrophobicity with similarly high durability. C6 fluorocarbon also guarantees the oleophobic resistance of the material.
